At the Y, we believe we have something special—sense of community—and that everyone should have access to it, along with the programs and services that help us learn, grow and thrive. With the help of donors and volunteers, we were proud to share our Y with 1,096 children, seniors and families last year who otherwise might not have become part of our Y family.
- For Danny and his 11 year old daughter Mary, the Y is a place to belong. After overcoming some personal challenges, the Y’s scholarship program allowed Danny to give his 11 year old daughter Mary the opportunity to thrive in mind, body and spirit by re-joining the Titans swim team. In her father Danny’s words, “being able to see her succeed in something she loves and focus on something positive with her friends is an incredible feeling.”
- Lisa lost power for several days during a severe winter storm.. As a community gathering place, the Y enabled her and over 70 other individuals to stay warm, connected, and utilize shower facilities.
- At the Y, no child, family or adult is turned away. As a result, we provided over $284,000 in financial assistance through our scholarship program.
From safe spaces to academic achievement to family well-being and more, when you donate to the Y, you’re giving those in need the opportunity to thrive.
Give for a better us.
